Our Mission & Vision
The mission of Stevens Memorial Baptist Church is to love God, to love others, and to magnify the name of Jesus Christ. The vision of our church is to glorify our God and Savior, Jesus Christ, to make true disciples throughout all the nations by means of missionary activity and support, to minister the ordinances, to edify believers, and to do all that is sovereignty possible and Biblically permissible to magnify the name of Jesus.
Our Staff:
Brenden Lawson, Pastor
Brenden has been the pastor at Stevens since 2026. He is passionate about seeking the Lord’s vision for the church as well as preaching the word and reaching the community for Christ. His wife, Jaime is a speech pathologist at New Horizons in Newport News and they have two children, Connor and Sadie.
Sarah Eureka, Administrative Assistant
Sarah has been with Stevens Memorial Baptist Church since April 2024. Her husband is currently serving in the Navy.
